Verdict

The Ja 4 moves away from the flashy design of the Ja 3 to return to a simpler—and likely more practical—design for most basketball players. A firm, agile, and sturdy pair. With very effective lateral traction and excellent forefoot support, it’s a good fit for the average player, but the slight heel play, mid-range materials, and merely adequate stability prevent it from rising to the next level...

For jumps that make the rim shake, we’ve added a lightweight, responsive SPRPWR insole right on top of ultra-comfortable Cushlon 3.0 foam for optimal cushioning.
The lightweight, durable foam upper provides optimal support for quick movements, while a textured haptic panel adds texture and durability. The JA structure wraps around the midfoot for optimal support and enhanced stability, while maintaining great agility.
The durable rubber outsole, featuring a traction pattern inspired by the logo, grips the field as if it were your own, so you can play fast and fearlessly.
