The story behind this colorway:

Inspired by the models that defined Book’s childhood, the Book 2 features the metallic purple finishes and black accents of one of his favorite pairs from that era, the Nike Foamposite. Equipped with game-ready technology, it’s even more responsive than Book’s first masterpiece. The Air Zoom unit in the forefoot gives his first step a boost turbo. The player-approved Cushlon provides full-length cushioning. And an over-cushioned insole gives Book a soft, responsive bounce. Now it’s your turn.
