Verdict

The Kobe 3 Low Protro strays a bit from the traditional image of a Kobe shoe—one that’s similar to the sol and heavily focused on control. Here, the Low version Protro emphasizes comfort, cushioning, and stability, featuring an excellent Zoom Strobel/Cushlon 3.0 combination and a particularly secure platform underfoot. Its main trade-off remains support: the low-cut design and highly flexible upper offer plenty of freedom of movement, but may lack the necessary lockdown for highly explosive players.
