Verdict

The Harden Vol. 10 builds on a now-familiar formula, featuring a shoe similar to the sol —it offers great stability and an excellent fit that adapts to different foot types. Its stiff construction requires a significant break-in period before the Boost+ can perform to its full potential, and it’s best suited for players who can generate a lot of power with each step. A pair designed for powerful, explosive players seeking court feel, support, and agility. 

Key Points

  • Reliable tracking, especially during lateral movements, but less precise during forward/backward movements. Slightly above-average sensitivity to dust, but very easy to clean.
  • Boost+ directly underfoot, with a very thin Strobel and insole that let you feel the foam despite the shoe's highly structured construction.
  • Cushioning better suited for powerful players who can really drive their feet into the ground. Lighter players may have a harder time taking full advantage of the fully encapsulated Boost+.
  • A very pronounced "short feel" with a low seat and a platform that provides a strong connection to the ground.
  • Excellent fit, with a spacious interior and a liner that hugs the foot to minimize dead space. We recommend choosing your usual size.
  • The upper is stiff at first, so it takes some time to break in and conform more naturally to the foot's movements.
  • Excellent lateral support.
  • Slightly rounded edges that make the platform more agile without really compromising stability.
