Verdict

The A.E. 3 builds on the design of the A.E. 1 Low with a more refined execution. An explosive and stable shoe, featuring responsive Hyperboost cushioning underfoot that’s firmly contained by a rigid outer structure. The result is plenty of springback, forward propulsion, and a genuine sense of security with each step. A sturdy and protective pair, though not particularly forgiving—it imposes its structure on the foot and may require more effort from players accustomed to a high degree of flexibility.
