. Ja's grit has blended perfectly with Memphis' grind. "Scratched" salutes the Grizzlies' northern origins Ja's ferocious style of play that he brought to Music City.
Ultra-Responsive Foam
. The Ja 3 is our first kids' basketball shoe to use springy ZoomX foam, giving Ja Nike's highest energy return yet. "It's that extra boost when I'm already moving fast," Ja says.
Put Them on Notice
Ja knows the outsole on the Ja 3 gives him an edge. "With this grip, I can break defenders off any time I want," he says. A traction pattern made up of mini Ja logos lets him cook his opponents and leave his mark on the game.
Built Tough for 12
. The lightweight, durable upper provides a canvas for Ja's unique style of play and the stability he needs to feel shifty.
Ja Dropping Design
. When Ja sat down with our designers, his message was clear. "I told 'em, 'Don't be scared. Push it,'" Ja says. The result? The Ja Swoosh logo—a vertical Swoosh logo next to a graffiti-inspired "A." Scratch marks round out the design to create a shoe ready for the bright lights.

"The Ja 2 was about control—locking in," Ja says. "The Ja 3? It's freedom. More bounce, more energy, more movement." The combination of responsive ZoomX foam and the traction pattern helps Ja raise his game.
